Well kwistenbiebel you can achieve the same result in artlantis R, some user say that they like the render engine of version r. but version studio is faster and i think you can see the results.
Take a look at maxwellrender, it is the best realistic render on the market today, but most users dont get that realistic look the first time, you just need to take the time to test and find the magic point where a render looks great.
Same thing is with artlantis or with any software by that matter.
The level i have achieve with artlantis is the payoff of countless tests over and over again. I love rendering and i think my renders show that.
I have posted most if not all of my settings over and over again, some user do great rendering based on hat, some dont.
The magic is in your eye and mind, buy good textures, spend some time looking at magazines that show great beautiful spaces, look at other master renders, learn from everything you can. Thats the only way you will get good at anything.
Artlantis is a great software, many user find it useless because they get medium quality results, but that is what the user choose to do with the knowledge it has. They need to search the forums for tips and trick that me and many other master users have posted.
I spend 3 days, like five hours each on testing the shaders, light, camera angle, etc. and the render payed off well.
I dont use version r any more, not because it not capable of doing what studio does, but because since the beta testing period i have been using it and its natural to continue using the latest version the software.
i will explain step by step this render, because it shows a lot of technical stuff i'll love to show you guys.
